The Department of Nursing Science trains professional nurses for compassionate, ethical and evidence-based care for individuals, families and communities.

The Department of Community Health focuses on health promotion and disease prevention at community level.

Admissions Information

Admission to the Faculty of Health Sciences is based on NOUN’s general admission requirements and the specific requirements of each health programme.

Applicants must possess the required O’Level credits and meet the programme entry requirements. For direct entry pathways, candidates may require ND, NCE, HND or a first degree in a relevant field. Some health programmes may not admit from 100 level and may require direct entry.

Tuition and School Fees

Fees vary by programme, level and registered courses. Students should verify current fees before payment.

  • Undergraduate Programmes: Estimated ₦70,000 - ₦120,000 per semester.
  • Postgraduate Programmes: Estimated ₦100,000 - ₦150,000 per semester.
