Admissions Information

Admission to the Faculty of Management Sciences at NOUN requires a JAMB registration number for data verification and eligibility assessment.

NOUN offers several admission pathways:

  • General Admission: Requires a minimum of 5 O'Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, and a JAMB Registration Number but students are not required to sit for JAMB.
  • Direct Entry: For candidates with A'Level, NCE, OND, HND, or equivalent qualifications. A JAMB registration number is still required.
  • Inter-University Transfer: Students transferring from other universities must meet NOUN's admission requirements and possess a JAMB registration number.
  • Postgraduate Admission: Requires a relevant HND or Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution and a NYSC certificate.

How to Take Exams at NOUN

Examinations at NOUN are conducted in a structured and secure environment. Here's an overview of the process:

    • Completed course abd exam registration.
    • Paid all required fees.
    • Met the minimum TMA (Tutor Marked Assignment) score requirement (usually 30%).
  2. Examination Schedule: The examination schedule is published on the NOUN website and student portal well in advance.
  3. Examination Venues: Examinations are held at designated study centers across the country. Students are assigned to a specific venue based on their location.
  4. Examination Conduct:
    • Students must bring their valid student ID card and examination slip to the venue.
    • Strict rules against cheating and malpractice are enforced.
    • Mobile phones and other unauthorized electronic devices are not allowed in the examination hall.
