The first pen-on-paper 2022_2 semester exam in the history of the newly established National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) community study centre, Ilaro, took place on November 4, 2022.
Many students at the centre were anxious before the exam started because of the upcoming exam.
The acting director, Mr. Ayokunle M. Ola, claims that this is due to the students' weak exam mindset. Perhaps they are unaware of the value of examinations.
Exams are extremely important in the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN). All exams serve to measure the knowledge and skills of university students and are an important element of their development.
The purpose of the university exams is to foster students' feeling of responsibility and to assess their level of course comprehension. Thus, exams do not depress NOUN students and instead help them become more likeable people with better memories and review techniques.
The aforementioned highlighted the start of university exams and their administration at Ilaro Community Study Centre, after the vice chancellor's and his management team's consent.
The director and his team at the centre, Mr. Oliver Y. Ejigbo, an Administrative Officer, made sure that the exams go off without a hitch by carefully supervising and invigilating at the location set aside for the Pen-on-Paper exams, which is the centre's Moot Court.
