Pilot Enrollment Exercise For Noun Students Underway

The National open University of Nigeria, (NOUN), has commenced its pilot enrollment exercise for students of the university.

The aim of this exercise was to curb malpractice within the system, especially impersonation, and cross check if a person is actually a bonafide student of the institution.

The pilot enrollment exercise is simultaneously taking place in both Abuja Model Study Centre and Lagos Liaison Office, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The test run will be for a couple of days.
According to Mr. Onuh Sule, Head of Software Development Unit of the university, the exercise was expected to continue till all students were enrolled into the school portal.

If completed students would use biometrics for examinations and TMAs. All students are to enroll before the next semester exams, he said.
