The workshop, which commenced on Thursday, August 17th, and ended on Saturday, August 19th, 2023, had the theme _The Gains of Transparency and Accountability in Managing a Cooperative Society and had delegates participating both physically and virtually.
Held at the Port Harcourt Study Centre of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), the event featured three major papers addressed by three resource persons. The first paper, titled _Transformational Leadership,_ was presented by Mr. Danjuma Yusuf, the managing director of Technokrat Consulting Ltd.
Similarly, _Cooperative Accounting and Financial Statements was presented by Mr. A. O. Agbo; while the final paper, _Fundamentals of Cooperative, Office, and Management Techniques, was handled by Mr. Joseph Loco.
It would be recalled that the workshop was earlier scheduled to hold at the Silicone Resort Hotel, Opposite Golf Pitch, GRA, Enugu, in Enugu State, on Thursday, July 6 to July 8, 2023, but was postponed because of elements of insecurity reported in the city at that time.
Participants testified that the workshop was quite enlightening and worthwhile. Each workshop delegate was presented with a certificate of participation at the end of the training.
