NOUN Advocacy Train Berths At Winners’ Chapel

The management of Calabar Study Centre, National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Calabar, Cross River State, recently took its advocacy campaign to the headquarters of Living Faith Church Worldwide, AKA Winners’ Chapel, in Calabar, Cross River State.

Prof. Onyeka Iwuchukwu, director, Calabar Study Centre, who led the advocacy train, said that the presence of university’s delegation at the church was announced several times by the presiding pastors, who also directed their ushers to collect the advocacy flyers and distribute it among members of the congregation.

Iwuchukwu also directed members of her team to continue with the distribution of the flyers outside the church as the service came to an end.

The team seized the opportunity to sensitise the teeming members of the church on the operation of the university and how they can secure admission into programmes of their choice in the university.

Members of the advocacy team were all over the place, prompting a member of the church to interject to Iwuchukwu, “You and members of your team are indeed on an educational evangelism.
