Nursing Body Awards Scholarships To Noun Students

The National Association of Nigerian Nurses in North America (NANNNA) has recently awarded scholarships to two female students of Benin Study Centre, National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).
NOUN News gathered that the recipients, Asani Omosede Peace and Nwosu Ifeyinwa Paschaline, applied for the scholarships and after thorough review of applications following the rules set by the council, they were certified qualified for entry into a professional Postgraduate Diploma in Education.
The award, which is being funded by a US based non-profit foundation, Health Carousel, requires that applicants must be employees of Nursing institutions and must work as nurse educators upon completion of the programme for a minimum of two years .
The director of the centre, Dr. Akeem Disu, who presented the award letters, congratulated the duo on behalf of the entire staff and students of Benin Study Centre on their success in the scholarship and wished them luck in their academic pursuits.
