The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) is offering admission guidance and on-the-spot registration assistance at the ongoing 21st Abuja International Trade Fair, giving prospective students an opportunity to obtain information directly from university representatives.
The university’s stand is located at Booth 43 in the ACCI Pavilion at the Abuja International Trade Fair Complex. The fair runs from 25 September to 6 October 2026.
According to a report published by NOUN on 27 September, the outreach is being led by the Directorate of Media and Publicity. Its team is engaging visitors on available academic programmes, entry requirements and the university’s Open and Distance Learning model.
The Acting Director of Media and Publicity, Mrs Omotola Ojudu, said the initiative supports the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Uduma Oji Uduma’s efforts to increase the university’s visibility and expand access to higher education.
She explained that participation in the fair provides an opportunity to give prospective learners accurate information about studying at NOUN, particularly those seeking to combine education with employment, family responsibilities and other commitments.
Ojudu also encouraged university staff to invite friends, relatives and associates to the stand for programme enquiries and registration assistance.
For prospective applicants in Abuja and surrounding areas, the outreach offers an opportunity to clarify admission requirements before starting an application. Current NOUN students can also direct interested family members and colleagues to the university’s representatives.
Applicants should confirm the requirements for their chosen programme and follow the official application procedure. Registration assistance does not remove academic entry conditions or guarantee admission.
Those unable to attend the fair can obtain admission information through NOUN’s official website.
